A Walk with the Rainbow Family is a children’s book from New Zealand. The story is centred around a family of Kiwi birds, Mum, Dad and eight chicks. Each chick represents a colour of the rainbow. It is a story encouraging individuality and self-discovery, with ‘Roxy’ the red Kiwi bird trying to find his identity by interacting with his family members while on a walk through imaginative landscape based on New Zealand characteristics.
